Default Gps and the Q

Sprint offers their navigation services for something like 5 bucks a month. My thought was why pay for a feature of the phone I paid for, is there any gps software that I can get for the Q?

i dont believe that service works for the Q
but there are free map program out there
IE: google maps, and microsoft live
but to use it you will have to get a bluetooth gps receiver (and there is no way around that part if you want it to follow your route)

So your saying that I can still get google maps and use it (even if I don't have the gps receiver, sure it won't follow my route, but i'll have maps) Thats awesome

MOTO Q = BEST PHONE EVER

Got one of those $100 pocket bluetooth GPS recievers that works great with the free Microsoft Live program.

Those gps units should work with googlemaps too. I find that I often know where I am but don't know how to get to where I'm going so a gps isn't needed desparately. Just program where you are, or locate your position on the map and press *; then type in the address or point you want to go to or look someone up in your contacts. I wish the programs could give audible directions. That would be cool but the onscreen/map balloons work.
