Default Google Maps not loading anymore

It worked fine on Monday. I haven't installed anything since. I did install yahoo Go! over the weekend but GMaps was working fine. Monday evening it kept giving an error everytime I tried to run it. I decided to uninstall and reinstall it but that didn't work. Now it won't even run. It doesn't appear under tasks even. I uninstalled Yahoo and then reinstalled GMaps and its still not even running when I select it.

Does anyone have any ideas of what could be going wrong?

Thanks

Has no one had this problem? "Google Maps" shows in the title bar for about 2 seconds and the icon moves to the far left of the QuickList bar as if it ran. It doesn't show up in the task list either. I rely on this app so it's important to me that it run correctly if at all.

Clearing the cached items apparently did the trick but I had to uninstall GMaps in order to do that. Is there a way to do that without removing apps? I also had to uninstall Yahoo Go and Pocket Express. I like the new weather feature of Pocket Express. AT the moment they are both working properly.

Thanks

If I can't get into the app in order to do that is there anything else I can do? My problem was that I couldnt' get into Google Maps at all.
