Freeware for soft reset, reboot or restart? - Motorola Q Forum

I'm told there is a small freeware program that will perform a soft reset of the q, the same as turning it off and then turning it back on, clearing the memory and stopping all programs.

I would like to put a shortcut to a program like that into my start menu.

Google has not turned up any programs that will do this for the moto.q but there seem to be programs designed for other smartphones and handheld devices.

I'd appreciate if anyone can point me to a program like this.

I found the "Reset Button" app I told you about in your other post. It was put out by Trianglepowers.com; unfortunately their site is no longer up. I found the cab file on a card I had floating around. Send me your email address and I'll try and send it to you.

Wow! You'd think I yelled "Free Beer" at the Marine Corps Ball. I'm on my Q right now, I sent the file to rudeboy to put on his server; I don't know if it went out in a usable format though. If not I won't get to my computer until 2300 tomorrow. I'll get you guys then; sorry for the delay.
