Default Fizzweather Vs. Pocketweather

I know pocketweather just had an update and it was supposed to be a lot better.. although all of the homescreens here seem to use fizzweather and i know the support for fizzweather is great.. any suggestions on which weather program i should get? currently what i have been reading is leaning me towards fizzweather

first off i don't use either (atm)..

in general i am not a big fan of the "vs" threads.. it's all personal on what you prefer.. just my 2cts.

The reason why you see so many with Fizz Weather, is that it's been out longer. Not as many of the designers utilize Pocket Weather, and some haven't bought it (Myself included). I've been looking to try it out, but haven't taken that leap yet.

You'll find many more Homescreens with Fizz Weather, but there are some with Pcketweather being developed.

I have tried both and I like PW better. When I installed FizzWeather it seemed to slow down the loading of my homescreen. So I uninstalled it. FizzWeather does give you a nice homescreen layout but I can promise you PW gives tons more info. Although I am kinda partial to PW, I have been beta testing if for sometime now. But! I would pick up PW, plus their support is amazing!

ok so pocketweather has more information, its cheaper, has good support but hasnt been around as long.. and homescreens are going to start being made that support pocketweather... hmmmm, i plan on getting facade as well which is obviously made by the same company.. not sure now.. pocketweather dosent seem to bad as long as i can hold out for the homescreen layouts

if you have facade the pw integrates in the facade homescreens anyway.

i tried a couple weather progtams...i prefer pw myself. Easier to use IMO

I have both...currently using Fizz.

I you are a Facade user, then you'll see the forecast for the day in the Facade calendar plugin, which is nice. But depending on how many appointments you have, or if you do or do not display empty days, you may not see the forecast for the next few days if there's no appointments.

Personally, I find PW too complicated. The UI of Fizz is far more polished, and easier to navigate and understand. PW has a lot more options for e.g. data download...but it probably feels too complicated to many. PW a delivers a lot more information, but unless you're e.g. a pilot, it will probably be overkill for most.

As for Facade...it works. I have it on my homescreen right now, but I think I am going to remove it. Yesterday afternoon it was raining cats and dogs here, and even though I have Fizz configured to auto-update every hour, it told me that it was sunny out. So no matter how nice a weather plugin may be, it's no use to me if the available forecast data is inaccurate.
