Question Extended Battery

I have an extended battery on my q and the cover for it seems to be a little loose. Any way to fix it so that it feels "one" with the phone or is that just the way it is? Thanks...

mine feels solid. Put a case over it and you'll never know :-)

There is a thread on this somewhere (Search around a bit) A case is the best resolution though. Mine does shimmy a bit as well...its common.

Well, I got my extended battery yesterday (01.09.07) Love the charge it holds absolutely HATE how it looks though. I also ordered a case (monaco) for the Q not to impressed with it. I loved how slim the phone was, now its like you orded the Bat. to extend charhge life and altered the the phones whole being. The case fits tight but had to alter it also in order to be able charge the phone in the case and be able to use the scroll wheel. I am thinking about ditch'n the ext. bat and case and going OEM.... Much more better look'n which is the whole reason I chose the phone to begin with. Its almost at the size of a treo now with all the alteration. Except I think I could do more with treo....LOL

Well I have good news....... I did the update from MOTO and I now get about 12 hours of use with the Heavy duty bat. And a decent use with the smaller bat.

Not a big fan of cases for phones, I usually keep them in good shape without them and they add to the bulkyness. I read somewhere how to fix the shimmy and forgot where and what it was. Bummer, guess I'll just have to deal.

You can always use gorilla glue duct tape to hold it in place. Or just plain gorrila glue.

You might wanna take this issue to verizon. On my last testing (with the standard battery). With heavy use. When I say heavy I mean an hour and a half of surfing the net, Fizz weather updating every hour. 5 full vzwireless syncs. And I got right at 32 hours of life out of the standard battery.

IMO you should be getting more than 12 hrs of use out of an extended battery.
