Default Email vibrate alert length

Is there a hack or other way to shorten the length of the vibrate alert when I receive a new Outlook email?

I changed the RingTone0 and RingTone1 values to av1w1r from the default av3w3r and my phone stopped vibrating at all. What should I change the script value to to get it to vibrate for 1 second only?

Did you do a soft reset (i.e. turn the Q off and on)? I changed mine to that value a couple of months ago. Worked for a couple of days, then reverted back to the v3w3 scheme.

Anyone else have that experience where the registry values are only temporary?

Ok, I changed the value to av1w1 and did a soft reset. This effectively changed the vibration length on incoming calls but left my email notification vibrate length at 3 seconds. Is there another key that needs to be changed or added to make my email notification vibrate length 1 second?

Thanks. I got it fixed. Here is what I did:

Navigated to HKCU/Control Panel/Sounds/E-Mail

Created a new string value called script and set the value to av1.

I soft reset the Q and I was good to go. I hope this will help someone else.
