email question - Motorola Q Forum

hello all....just have a question about email....

On my messages screen, I have 3 choices.....A.Text Messages, B. Outlook Email and C. my scbglobal acct that I set up.

I use Outlook on my laptop but have never used it on the Q. The only time the Outlook acct on the Q receives email is when an email arrives during Active Synch.

How many accts can I have set up on the Q? Can I have my sbcglobal(which checks my home email) and set up a Gmail acct as well?

im not sure of the total number but you can sure have 2
i have 3 on mine

yep.... i don't know the maximum number of accounts but i currently use 2..

is that 2-3 emails you have added yourself? or does that count the Outlook that I assume is there by default and text messages?

and keep in mind, every account you add will be listed in that very list and not like in the "big" Outlook as a account "inside" Outlook, maybe that is partly what confuses you.

I understand...my sbcglobal is listed separate. I really never use the Outlook one, because all my mail goes to the sbc one. The only time I go into the Outlook one is to delete the mail that came when it was synching and I have already seen that on the laptop.

ok, i just wanted to make sure since it can be confusing to say the least.
