During Voice Mail - The Q Won't Recognize My Key Strokes

I Have Full Functionality To Everything On The Q. I can make calls receive etc. text messages, web sites... I can dial out with no problem, but when I call my voicemail and it asks for my SPRINT password, my phone is basically dead to any key pushed on the phone. the only thing i did was change the home screen with one from this board. I have tried to change the home screen and it still didn't recognize my key strokes in voicemail. anyone experience this??

Thank You So Much. Didn't know what that was and turned it off trying to get rid of weird beeping noise that was coming from phone which i fixed.

Would this DTMF tones being off, also affect speed dial?

I doubt it, since the speed dial is done onboard the phone.

when push 1 and 'talk' it doesn't goto voicemail. thought that was sprint default...

For the speed dial, just hold the number in rather than pressing it and then send. It will dial automatically

thanks glad i asked, my old samsung i just replaced had me used to pressing 1 and send. that worked.
