Default Does the email remain on the POP3 server with the Q black?

I have the Moto Q black for verizon, I set up a POP3 email account on the phone. My question is, when you do a send/receive from the phone, does the email it downloads actually still stay on the POP3 email server so later when you are at your computer at home you can still download the same messages to your home pc? or once you check and receive email on the Q do the messages get deleted from the POP3 server?

is there a way to change this setting like you can do in Outlook on a computer?

It will remain on the server as long as you don't delete it on your Q. If you delete it on your Q the next time you send/receive on the Q it will delete it off the server.

The answer to your question is yes and no. Gmail pop leaves it too but then you can't retrieve it a second time via pop. Most pop servers recognize the Q's commands and just serve a copy.

Not all servers will allow delete via the Q.

I use 2 hours.

The question is how do I turn that off? I don't like that feature.

One Thing You Can Try Is Logging Into Webmail And Creating A Top Level Folder Called Deleted Items. (capital D I And Everything Else Lower Case. My Q Is Broken On Caps) Then When You Sync, It May Move The Items You Deleted Out Of Your Inbox. Worked For Me.
