you can turn off the "say a command" by going to voice recognition-settings-sound-promts- you can also turn off that annoying beep in there. I forgot to lock my phon in a meeting and it went off all of the sudden! thank goodness it wasnt an important meeting but stil scarry. but thanks to the keylock application it will never happen again!!

That when composing or or replying to an email you can add a "Voice Note" from the insert option key. I was driving down the road the other day and was not willing to A)type a response while driving or B)pull over and type on. Found this little attachment very handy.

I was looking for a Menu button under the Call Options, like the directions above directed. Never thought that just adding the "pp" plus the password and # would just automatically be inserted in the number 1 speed call buttom -- but it most certainly did. Works great.

It is a terrific little benefit, especially when driving with an earpiece.

I guess this has taught me to experiment a little before I go and ask!

To control volume on your media player just roll your wheel up or down as required or press the down-up arrows on center button.

More so, you can add a shortcut to any URL stored your contacts. For example, I created a new contact called "Google Mobile", put in http://mobile.google.com and saved it, then I opened the contact and added it as speed dial #70.

This way, to get to google, I just hit 70. No need to open IE, then bookmarks, etc.

Another quickie item...

Many applications don't have an "exit" option on the menu. However, if you press the hangup/disconnect/shutdown button some apps will actually exit instead of just switching back to the home screen.

Alas, you have to experiment with this... Not all apps actually exit. <sigh>

Did you know that the pipe | character is not on the Q?

I had to change my domain user account password the the server.

But now I find out http://www.qoolapps.com is a application that can add the character. Oh well password was 4 months old anyways.
