Default Detach attachments from pop mail

Hello, can we detach attachments from the pop mail? And bring it to the folder we want. I do not see "detach attachments" or "save as..." functions. Thanks.

These options do not exist. There is, however, an Attachments folder somewhere under the \Windows\Profiles folder. Not sure of the exact path as I now have mine on my miniSD card and the path is different. Anyhow, the files in this Attachments folder will have a file extension of .att. Best way I know to decipher what's what is to look at the file properties and compare date/time to that of the email itself. Takes some time and detective work, but only way I know of. Maybe someone else has a better answer. Would be great if there were an app/add-on to allow you to save attachments.

Use the method stated above for attachments you can't open. The folder is \Windows\Messaging\Attachments.

If you can open the attachment, then it's much easier to do it this way.
While the attachment is open, go into a file manager and look in \Application Data\Volatile. You should find the attachment there. Just copy it to wherever you want.

If you try to "open" the attachment, check \Application Data\Volatile, and voila, it's there.

Thanks, a great help. So, I should open the attachment before finding it at a path that you talk about.
