Default Deleting Messages?

Anyone figure out a way to delete multiple texts or emails at once? It's very time consuming to delete them one by one.

Download a progam called jeyo companion. Its on jeyo.com. First 15 days are free but only 20 bucks after that and well worth it. It deletes multiple messages at a time among tons of other things.

Did you search on delete multiple? There are several threads dealing with just that.

If you want to delete all the messages in a folder, you don't need any other programs, though. Just go into the folder view of an account, select the folder that you want to empty, press the Menu softkey and then use Delete All.

The Delete All function is part of the "InboxExtender" app, which is free. Can be found here at RB's link:

Inbox Extender adds Mark All As Read and Delete All to the message view, but you can get Delete All in the folder view without it as I mentioned above.

I don't have Inbox Extender on my Q and still have Delete All in the folder view.

I used to have Inbox Extender installed, but I didn't reinstall after I updated to MOL 3. I didn't like that it made the message view menu so long that you couldn't see it all without scrolling.

Ahhh, thanks Pony, that is a drawback....the scrolling thing. I just looked in my folder view and the only options I have is show, manage, and sync folders. Oh well, maybe the Extender moved it? or my Qwest Q just doesn't have it! Thanks

I don't know why you don't see it. Maybe it was added in one of the Verizon MOL updates and you don't have that.

It's definitely in my Text Messages and POP 3 accounts. What kind of account are you looking at?

Pony- checked again, and no delete all. I do have "clear text messages" in the text folder view though. I looked through my Outlook, Hotmail, and AOL accounts. Here's my SW version...not sure if thats 3 or 4, or 2 for that matter! My Q runs GREAT, so I haven't gone down that MOL road......
