I may have messed something up in the registry because I was editing that yesterday, but I have already turned off and on the device several times since then.

so I had it plugged in lastnight and this morning and apparently it turned off (I did not turn it off). Now, when I go to turn it on, I get the Verizon logo, then a white screen that says that way until I pull out the battery. Nothing says it is charging when it is pluged in so im assuming its not. Please help!!!

Is it plugged in using a charger or USB?

Leave the battery out, unplugged for five minutes. Place the battery back in the device, and plug it in without turning it on. Let it charge for 15 minutes, then turn it on.

well, it was plugged into a non motorola charger I got off ebay ofr like $3. Now, its plugged into the motorola charger and its showing the battery filling up like it is supposed to. I let it charge like this for a while and then freak out if it doesnt work right. thanks for the quick reply.

yeah although during the night it was plugged into the motorola one and it didnt charge at all so thats no the problem, although it may be no good anyway...

in any case, my Q is working fine now. siggghhh
