Create shortcut

I have created an html directory and put it on my storage card. So, I tried to create a shortcut to put in the start menu or even on the desktop. Does anyone know how to do that? I need to find a faster way to get to the file so that I don't have to go all the way through the file manager to find the file every time as I use it often. I would like to make a shortcut in the start menu preferably so that when I push start, it would be there.

The easiest way that i know to do this is using Resco Explorer. Using Resco Explorer, highlight the desired file/folder > select Action > Send To > Start Menu as Shortcut.

I do recall seeing a method to do this without Resco, but it was much more involved and I don't recall the details/steps to do it.

To create a shortcut to a folder, first create a shortcut to one of the files in the folder, then edit the shortcut with wordpad or the like, erase the filename portion and change the number at the beginning to the actual length of the new shortened path. Save it and you're done.
