Default Contemplating Q future, please help

Just wondering, from any Q9M owners, the Q has been notorious for not being fast enough to keep up with people who are able to type fast on the Q. If a Q user types too quickly, characters will be skipped and on rare occasions, characters near punctuation marks may be swapped) Has this issue been fixed with the Verizon Q9M? I'm on Sprint but I ask because it may show if this will be fixed on the Q9C as well. This is going to play a very important role in wheather I buy a Q9C or not (and I really want one).

Also, to anyone with blackberry experience, would you guys think that someone who loves the Q (aside from it skipping characters when ypu type fast) would like a Blackberry (perhaps a curve or perl) or not?

Any help would be appreciated. I really kinda want to go to the sprint website and order the Q9C but I'd like to know if they did anything about this problem.

Based on what I've seen, most do like the Blackberry. However, I don't work for Sprint. I work for US Cellular. It's not so "techie" a company as Sprint. So maybe that affects how our users respond. Most like the push functionality of the Blackberry, plus the much better battery life. We don't yet carry the CDMA Perl. The 8830 was our last release.

But user appreciate that with a Blackberry, you're not quite so much "out on your own" with it. By that I mean that the Q has to carry out what it does on its own. Blackberry includes servers that do the email retrieval, and then only send the email when there's mail to send. While the Q has to do the whole thing itself.

I don't mean to say one is better. Just that people seem to appreciate what Blackberry service does for them.

Remember, Blackberry is business email oriented, so their email will surpass the Q functionality. the q is an all around device. you didnt say what you mainly use it for, but if you want a device geared towards one part of a smartphones capabilities, go BB, otherwise stick with the q and type slower

Most BB do not support mms or have cameras for that matter. As mentioned they are business oriented email and most providers have different requirements. For instance, for push email you would need RIM's software if your email is coming from an exchange server.
The Q has better calling quality I think. If you are happy with the speed of the Q then the BB will be even faster. However, the q9m has the best keyboard out of any smartphone device to date.
