Default Contacts Transfer from old Q to new Q

Okay, I have spent to much time talking to Verizon's Phone Tech's and their well uneducated Store Techs... sorry if you work for either!

My Q needed a replacement after about a month due to it shutting off or freezing on its on and the fact I couldn't charge it while it was on. Anyways, got the 'new' Q and took it in to get the contacts converted over and they said their setup wouldnt work and also wouldnt when hooked up to their computer...

So, I dont want to manually transfer my 270 contacts from one to the other and I can't seem to find a way to copy off the PIM.VOL file (cause it says insuf memory, dont have permission to copy that typeo etc), even though I have read so many of n99hoceky and rudeboy's comments on this...

Someone please help me before my 15 day return time runs out on my old POS phone, which is close cause Verizon's 2 day mailing took 8 days (and it originally left the distributor which was less then 20 miles from me).

Sorry for typos or missing info but to spent to many hours at Verizon today to be happy... and when I got home the water company happened to blow a water main at my street... good ending to the day

Okay, Guess a shot and some thinking solved my problem (sorry guys)... I found that I can save the PIM.VOL file to my Card then just put the card in the new phone and (after changing the name of the current file there) copy it back to that same directory in the new phone. I knew Alcohol was made for a good reason; you know its bad when a Civil Engineer solves something after a shot
