System Tools or Repair Contacts

Is there any way to save your phone contacts list to your PC without involving outlook.. I have never used outlook and only want to save the contacts so I dont have to go to Verizon after a reset to get them back from my old phone.. Also any way to save them to the SD card????

You can use ActiveSync to back them up to your PC. You don't ever actually have to use Outlook if you don't want to, you can just use it to hold your data.
Another options is Sprite Backup.

I tried outlook as well to back up contacts. I do not use outlook on a regular basis, as well I lost all my contacts twice using outlook/active sync. I personally use the Verizon Wireless Sync. I LOVE it. If you put a contact in your phone and sync it updates the Wirless Sync, and if you add a contact in wireless sync and then sync it updates your phone. I found with outlook it ONLY pushed what was in Outlook to phone. Which is a problem for me cause when I get a new number or email address, I usually put it in my phone first. Hope this helps

Have you installed it? It's pretty straightforward to use. You get 30 days to decide of you want to keep it--you can get a refund within that time. There is no trial version--you have to purchase it to download.

Outlook will sync (i.e. both ways), it depends on your settings in ActiveSync.

I haven't used AS in a while, but in the Options, I believe you can tell it to overwirte phone with PC, overwrite PC with phone, or sync them. I could be wrong, but that's the way I remember it.
