Can I customize the contact on my Moto Q, like pictures and ringtones for each one of them??

sure can...

just go to contacts and edit the contact and scroll towards the bottom and you will see where you can add a picture and ringtone

i believe it first searches \Application Data\Sounds, and then the root of the Q and the root of the sd card if any. didn't hear yet of changing the location.
