this was my biggest problem with my old Q before upgrading to the 9m. I noticed, though, that for some reason my Q would take a charge from the computer before it'd even show connected to my regular wall charger.

Have you tried charging the phone from different power locations and/or different chargers?

the first time i got a replacement Q Verizon told me my phone showed signs of corrosiveness associated with water. I have NEVER gotten my phone wet, though I do have a son. I initially thought perhaps he stuck something in his mouth - but 4 more later with the same problem really eliminated that. I know he couldn't have snuck ALL of the replacements in his mouth while I was not watching. I'm pretty tight on my phone!

While going through that problem, for some funny reason my phone was able to catch a charge when connected to my PC and sometimes while on the car charger. I have three other remote chargers that all refused to charge it. It started initially showing that it was connected but simply not charging, to progressing to not even showing connected.

Verizon told me that if at any point you have to jiggle the connection to get the phone to show it is connected, to return the phone AND the cord at once - something to do with corrosion that will only make it worse and there's nothing to improve from.

I had the same thing with mine, I had to have it replaced, they said the plug was bad.
