 |  Car Installation Does anyone know if Best Buy or Circuit City can install the Motorola HF 850 or the Motorola IHF 1000 in my car? Is it worth the money to move up to the 1000 rather than the 850? Thanks! |

| I would think they could. I work for Best Buy's canadian counterpart, Future Shop as an installer. Make sure to ask questions. If they seem to understand exactly what needs done, go ahead. If not, find another one. On a side note, there are aftermarket car decks out there that are bluetooth capable now as well. They will allow hands free calling through the car stereo system and will also allow bluetooth audio streaming as a nice add on. This is the route I am currently looking to go. |

| Just a note on how the aftermarket units work, they mount a mic just like any unit would, but the speaker used is the cars speakers. When a call comes in it switches over to the phone, cuts out audio and takes the call ( you can select auto answer or manual answer). When the call is done, if switches back to what you were listening to. The audio allows streaming of your audio on the phone to the deck to listen to through the car and it really doesn't sound too bad. I also find the q streams really quickly with them, other phones I have found to take a while to start, but the q is quite fast. |
