I'd agree. I see people say to use it for battery life, but I really couldn't do without it for the times I want to use it in dark areas.

i noticed my batt life is reduced greatly if i keep the screen at its brightest. with candlelight, my battery lasts alot longer, esp after those registry hacks for the cpu and whatnot.

the only downside is i cant really see the dim screen during the day, but ill take that over less battery life anyday.

Give this a try. You can set the high/low level with it and use candlelight for quick switching.
