Can't clear IE cache

I'm not able to get my IE cache to clear. I'm trying to set up the Q to store temp files on my SD card, and I was thinking I should clear the files on the phone before making a folder on the SD card, in case they'd get stranded when I switched the save location.

It lets me go through the motions, Options>Memory>Clear... Nothing. I still have 3.9 gigs left.
