Is there any way to have a an appointment set in the calander to auto delete after the date/time has passed. I hate having to go through my calander to delete old appointment. Any help would be great.

If u use outlook, then it will auto clear after a few weeks. If you want, in outlookm there is a way to set it up so it will auto clear in activesync/WMDC

active sync gives you the option to only sync a certain amount of time so it wont sync appts from 6 months ago...its under settings in the calendar section

the problem with that, is that i dont use active sync to sync my calander events. i use it as a "reminder" feature. if i talk to someone and they tell me something i need to remember, i manually enter it into my calander for the date and time of the event. i do not use outlook as an email option, i only use it to backup my contacts. so i guess i have to keep going in and "clean up" my calander. i have had other phones, with way less features that had an option to delete after the event has passed. i LOVE my Q, but these little things that have been overlooked in the development piss me off, i can deal with the big issues because of the new WM5 platform , but alot of basic little things EVERY other phone has, the Q lacks.
