Default Brand spankin' new Q user with some brand spankin' new questions

Hey there guys...i've been visiting the site for a while, but never posted, so i figured it was time to drop a line. I came from a Treo 600 (ancient, but i loved it, and it is still my alarm clock) to the Q because i wanted to step away from Palm OS for a while. Love the new Q! I have been creating ringtones for the last 2 weeks A couple questions...
I am on deployment in the Navy so this will not affect me now, but in about a month when i use the phone it will. I have downloaded Minimo (Mozilla Browser for Q) and i also downloaded the Opera Browser. I heard that Opera is now charging for their browser, is it really worth it or is minimo sufficient enough?
Also, is there any other program besides documents to go as far as word processing?
Thanks for the help & keep on keepin' on,
Sean

1) Welcome to EQ!
2) Nice choice on abandoning PalmOS.
3) I havent tried minimo, but PIE works better than opera in my opinion
4) Documents to go is still probably the best way to go
5) Have a nice day!

Well, first off I suggest checking out the Software tab at the top. This is where I first went when I found this board, and it seemed to help. The best thing I can suggest is to get a program called Sprite Backup, so that you have a concrete full backup of your Q in case something goes wrong you can restore and recover quickly.

it allows you to edit word/excel documents....where as the Q only allows you to view said documents by default
