Black vs Silver - Motorola Q Forum

I'm checking out getting a Q, but am vacillating between the Verizon Q Black, the normal Silver, and the Sprint Moto Q. Two questions:

1. Besides the case does the Q Black have any actual feature improvements over the older Silver?

2. And is the Sprint Q just as good as the Verizon Q?

I personally think the silver Q looks alot better than the black, and no there is no diff. between the 2 performance wise. I currently have the grey sprint Q and while I usually prefer silver or metallic phones I think sprint has done a great job incorporating the black & silver keys and it was nice to change it up.(I previously had a silver vzw Q, never liked the black one though, the red & green send & end buttons looked too toylike((like christmas)) against the black finish, and it made the vzw logo too intrusive) Though I understand why people like the black Q. I got a black razr when it came out.

Same guts, different cover, the Q black I believe comes with the a Q software update, available on the internet.. Personally I bought the Verizon Silver Q and bought a Sprint grey case for it. I'm not a big fan of the solid black Verizon Q, but I love Sprint's version.. Just me though...

And as n99hockey (Scott) and I discovered today.........if you need to use duct tape on your phone, it will look REALLY cool on the silver Q, but not so cool on the black one....

can you say black duct tape :}

on-topic: i like the silver one the best and not only because that is the one i have.

I actually would prefer a silver one, but the only difference that I'm aware of is the color (and perhaps software update?). Mine's got a case, anyway, though and it's just a color preference. ;)
