Best way to use phone for home LD - Motorola Q Forum

so I am wanting to somehow hook up my moto Q to be able to have my fax machine fax my LD stuff. any ideas?

You may just be better off faxing over the internet.

Sometimes I just forward my phone to the fax number then fax the doc to my phone number, then unforward the phone.

lol..............not really what I was thinking. I am sure there has got to be a way to use yer phone as a way to call out with a regular phone somehow

I have used my Razor to dial up from my PC via usb, maybe you could do the same with the Q. If your PC recognizes the Q as a modem and gives you an option to dial a # from the PC through the phone.

Connect with your usb and go to the modem options under your control panel and check it out.

I'm trying to figure out what LD might be. I'm sorry. I came up with Laser Disk and that didn't make any sense. Maybe Learning Disability (I'm not trying to be funny here). But, in the end, I thought it best to ask.
