Beginner Question

I have outlook 2002, and I would like to sync this account (a gmail account set up through outlook), to my Q's outlook.

I'd like to import the contacts off my desktop onto my Q

ANY help is appreciated

use active sync (or windows device center if you have vista)
and go to settings and make sure email and contacts are checked and they will sync right to the Q

Im hooked up, and in active sync I dont see a "settings". But I think they're communicating. My calendar seems synced, but I dont see anything related to "contacts" Thx

from AS help:

To synchronize information, you must select the corresponding information type for synchronization.

1. Connect your mobile device to your PC.
2. Click Tools, then click Options.
3. Select the information type that you want to synchronize.
4. If available, click Settings, and then select the options you want.
5. Repeat steps 2 and 3 for each information type.

Note Not all information types can be synchronized with all devices. For more information, see your device manufacturer’s documentation.
