When plugged into the wall charger or USB, the phones screen doesnt stay on. This is good, it's what i want. But on my iGO car charger, it stays on. Is there a setting im missing or is it just this way with any non-oem charger?

its annoying

must be a non oem. The Q probably uses a certain power reading to off the screen instead of port detection, and the igo tends to "speed charge" things.

It's just a non-OEM or non intelligent charger. The OEM stuff has circuitry that the phone can tell it's hooked up to properly. In fact, if you use a non-OEM charger with a RAZR, you might get a warning that you are using an improper charger. My old RAZR did that with one of my aftermarket wall chargers.

Thats what i figured. It's friggen annoying. Since radioshack owns 90% of igo, and motorola owns the other 10% you would think they would allow their devices to recognize them...
