I have a Moto HF-820 speakerphone that I clip to my driver's side visor. I have used it with my RAZR and it was a good hands-free solution (I hate BT earpieces).
I sync'ed it with my Q and it works fine too. This morning I used the speakerphone on the Q and was quite pleased with how clear and loud it was. So, I'm thinking why eve use the power-sapping Bluetooth HF-820 at all?
Anyone clip their Q to their visor and use Q speakerphone?
if i don't have my BT headset i use the speaker-phone function and never had complaints from people i talk with. i have never used a clip-on mic for in the car so i can't compare.
That's the great thing - no mic needed with a BT speakerphone. When I used just the Q speakerphone, I put the phone up against the visor (I don't have a clip yet) and it was less than a foot from my head - perfect for both talking and listening.
Thanks for the offer of your OEM clip. Let me know how much you'd like for shipping. I got the one at the Store for my visor, but would like yours if I ever put it on my belt.
