Alert sound keeps going off every 10min or so grrrr.

You know how if you have a voicemail or text message the Q if defaults sounds are on will sound an alarm (chirp) every so often. Mine is set to chirp and vibrate. Well someone called me today while I was working and so they left me a voicemail. Well I listened and deleted that voicemail and I still get the stupid alarm as if I still have unchecked voicemail and I don't have any text messages. I tried turning the phone off but all that did was get rid of the new voicemail icon at the top. Anyone have any clues how to fix this?
