Default Alarms and work.

Hello all, I just bought my Q this past weekend and am really enjoying it a lot! One issue that has me a bit confused is as follows. I need at least two alarms a day. One for when I get up and another for when I actully need to get into work(I lose track of time sometimes). So to do this I bought Gemtimer and set up my usual two alarms. Here is the problem. The first day I did this my alarm didn't go off aton time. It when off 1 hour late. I also noticed that the time had seemed to have gotten "stuck" it was 4:30 and the clock said 3:30. I've battled with this every morning since I bought the Q and would really like to get it fixed. I've only been sucessfull once and it didn't last as I had hoped it would.

Do you think that it could be caused to having the phone in the wrong time zone? I live in central US. and had it sent to Central America and others around that time zone to get the clock correct. Or could that darn charge complete info screen be getting in the way somehow? (I charge overnight)

Any help would greatly be appreciated!

~Tom

welcome... did you test this with the build-in alarm in the Q ? just to try and narrow down the issue, i never used the alarm function.

also did you try contacting the email support for that alarm program ? juts ot see if there are known issues.

Yes, it's a good idea to rule out eith Gentimer or WM5. Try using an appointment or task with a reminder and see if it goes off at the right time. If so, there is a problem with Gentimer. If it's still off, there may be a problem with the time zone if you created reminders/alarms in one zone, then changed the zone. I would try re-creating all the reminders/alarms.
