ActiveSync / Wireless Sync

Why do I need both ActiveSync and Wireless Sync? I'm confused. If I don't need one, which one do I delete? and how do I delete it? Tonight I could not get it to sync at all, with anything. I don't know if it's my computer, or the USB wire, or what. aaack. I need my own personal Q Geek here at my house to help me.

Active Sync is to sync and/or copy files from Q to pc or vice-versa.
Wireless Sync is to sync with Verizon servers OTA (Over The Air)

make sure that when you use wireless sync you turn off email and contacts and calendar in active sync so you dont get doubles!!

i hope this will not make an ass out of me (and/or you :} but i am going to assume i can choose what to sync with Wireless Sync, 'cuz the only thing i want it for it for pushing mail... (as you already knew/know/should know :}

haha yes you can do it visa versa...where you can select what you want in wireless sync to do....

after some delay (play w/ son 'n such) i going at it... very peculiar, i went in WS and all settings are already in it and a log from today full of errors... almost like Consilient (ab)used it. we'll see...

oh.. and indeed, i can turn on and off what i want to sync.
