 |  ActiveSync keeps signing in as "Guest" I'm using the same computer I setup my phone to the very first time, and it worked fine the first several times, but now all of a sudden it keep logging in as Guest, and I can't sync anything, it's annoying! I have turned my phone off and on over and over again, nothing has changed. I've restarted my computer as well, and still, the same thing. Any ideas please? Thanks! |

 | try to uninstall active sync and reinstall...or you could try to delete any partnerships you have with active sync and let it sync again

| Nope. Try this On the PC to disable guest mode Open up regedit.. Start-Run-Regedit and click OK. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows CE Services and change the value of GuestOnly registery to 0 or delete it..

| I reinstalled it, and it seems to be working now, but I am having problems with WMP 10 recognizing the device, it won't even see it. I went into the registry, and looked for GuestOnly at the path you provided, and I did not seem to find it. Is there a file after Windows CE Services? Or did it just end there? I also tried searching for GuestOnly, and didn't seem to find it there either. After reinstalling it, it is giving me an error message saying "Active Sync Encoutered a problem on the desktop See support error: 85010014" And wmp won't find the device either, even after I hit F5... Sorry for all the questions, but thanks! |
