 |  A few newbie questions I just got a Q from work, and I have a few quick essential questions I can't seem to find the answers to. What directory do I upload mp3's for ringtones? Is there anything I need to know about this? What directory do I upload themes/skins to? What directory do I upload background images to? Is there any button I can push that only lights up the screen again when it times out? It seems that every button not only turns the backlight back on, but also does something! I don't want it to do anything, if I'm in some settings or something, ya know? Sorry if these are posted somewhere. I searched, but didn't find.  |

 | 1. sounds can go in an miniSD card or thw \application data\sounds folder 2&3. both go in the \appliation data\home folder 4. use the dpad or scroll wheel to activate the sreen -Sent from my Q |

| Thanks man. I'm a phreaker, but I've only had a RAZR until now. So far, it seems like you can do more with the RAZR, as far as tweaking/hacking goes. Are there custom flashes/flexes, like the RAZR? |

| Yeah, you can flash the firmware and do all kinds of hacks. I mean, there are tons of programs created just for modifying the RAZR. Of course, it's just a phone. I'm kind of disappointed in my Moto Q, so far. Maybe I just haven't seen all it can do yet? I didn't pay for it, or anything. My company assigned it to me. Another question....when I install an application from a cab file or something, can I then delete the original file I uploaded? For instance, googlemaps.cab. It has an exe now that starts the program, right? So now can I delete the cab file then? Is that how this works? |

| yes you can delete the cab and exe files...but keep a copy on the PC for backup read the hack section of the forum..there is a bit you can do..but tons of programs that you can use to make the Q everything you want.... -Sent from my Q |

| Crap! I just installed "Right Menu", which I decided to remove, since it's trial, and now my right key doesn't bring up contacts anymore! How do I fix this? Don't try this program! There is no uninstall, and it fucks up your key! |

| and yet another newbie Never had a PDA of any kind before so everything is brand new to me. Why can't I drag files from my media player into the app data/sounds folder that you were speaking of? Is there something I must do to the file first? |
