I have a 2G (GSM Edge) Q, but I can't seem to find any references to it.

Was it ever sold to the public?

Now to get it reflashed, it is pretty old hardware and software (I work at Motorola, it is an old proto phone).

Many Q8 users out there? I tried to install Comminicator Mobile and it crashed all the time, was nearly useless. So I am guessing it is pretty thin on memory too.

My wife likes it better than the Q9H, the keys are easier to feel.

The Q8 is just slow, it is frustrating...

should be the same basic innards as a Q1. Maybe it just needs some "adjusting" -points to the hack section-
