I think I may know the answer to this already, but I'd like to seek the counsel of the TECH-SAVVY members of EQ to verify.
I am without a wall charger for my Q currently, as I left mine somewhere at the office over the weekend. I've kept running back and forth to the car charger when needed to keep the device charged. My 'Q'uestion is: What is the real skinny on the potential damage to the Q by using a charger made for another phone with a similar connection 'tip' (specifically a cingular Razor V3M ? ) (I'm verizon,if that matters).
I phoned verizons tech department, and the rep assured me that the Q would indicate that the charger was not compatible .
I bought a generic charger and it said V3 on it. It chargers still. You could always charge via USB. I have tons of those mini USB cable. My Canon, Sony and Nikon digital camera, usb hub and a few other things came with them.
I just got this charger at my local grocery store (Food City) for 1.00. It says it works on V3,V3c,RAZOR,SLVR,BlackBerry 6200/6500/710/7200/7500/8700c series. Stock number/sku is 60030 says Force Wireless.
Will this tear up the battery?
