Default what do you guys think?

I am planning on investing in this case for my q9:
BodyGuardz Protective Skin

I have the rugged ipod case that is similar to that and i love it so i figured (since the phone will sit in my pocket not on my waist) it will serve well as it comes with the screen protector and the overall slim case....

anyone have anything against it?

i'd be curious to know your results if you do get it. I'm looking at getting some protection for my phone as well. I'd mostly keep it in my pocket, though I saw this guy on friday who had a nice slim case for his blackberry, which he slid easily into a hip holster.

As I understand it, it's just a film that covers the various parts, which is cool if you just want to protect against scratches. However, I'm somewhat of a klutz, and tend to drop things, so I want something with a little shock protection. How does it work with your ipod covering? I can't decide what to get, though I'm leaning towards a metal case with a seperate screen protector.

Where do you get a metal case? is it like a carry case or an actual case? cause a metal case sounds cool to me. I have the silicon one from verizon right now. and the rubber-nes of it makes it hard to put and pull out of my pocket...but it is nice and slim and offers some shock protection, so I deal with it.

What kind of phone do you have? The one I was thinking of was the one made by Monaco, but it's not available (yet) for the q9m.

Here's the link to the one the everythingq store has...

yeah, the strong and sexy type...
My understanding is you can unscrew the holster attachment easily, so nothing sticks out the back.

Default Metal case coming soon

FYI- I'd emailed the manufacturer of the previous cases asking when the q9m case was coming out, and just got a response saying they'll be available in three weeks at wirelessground.com. Don't know if that's exclusive, but they have a nice selection of w9m accessories.

I remember reading somewhere on here (and search doesn't find it), someone was complaining about the signal strength on his Q while his wife's was doing ok. Then he removed the metal case seveal days later & his signal strength matched his wife's Q. I did a search but I can't find the thread, sorry. Looking for cases I was looking at those, too. But after reading that I went a different direction. Hope this info helps.
