FIRST, I
also have the Seidio 3200 battery and it is equal to twice the power of the extended battery (which is around 1600 milliamps).
(1) it is noticeable, but
not anywhere as bad as you say- see the link above and LOOK at it! It forms a small bump at the bottom end of the phone that in total (phone and battery) is less than 3/4" at it's thickest by an inch and a half in length. It actually
adds a better balance & feel to the phone especially when holding it in
one hand, and makes no difference whether you use one or two hands. It's weight is NEGLIGIBLE - more like
one 25 cent piece - certainly NOT a ROLL of them! I turned it on with a full charge at 6:30am today, it is about 12 hours later and the power bar just moved from a full bar to a 3/4 bar on the battery meter (that I've been constantly checking today as it is not the best indicator of actual power).
(2) Being a
PHONE, I do find that actually not having to be afraid to use it as one is
NICE. Inaddition to using up over 2 hours of talk time,
(3) I used Smartphone fucntions: I browsed the net for a half hour, and I've had my continuous push email (no time limitations) on all of the workday - and received/sent several emails, SMS, and texts
per hour. I also fiddled with an Excel document using
docs to go, and a Word document - both sent to me. Tomorrow I'll let y'all know how long it lasted and update the totals of phone call, browser, and email usage.
I AM IMPRESSED.
