My Seidio 3200 rocks...been days where I forget my Q even runs on a battery.

My only gripe is it doesn't fit in my desktop charger spare slot (but I will break out the dremel someday and fix that!) and it doesn't fit in my case..

I am so jelous. I've been stocking their site for months waiting for them to come out with a battery door for the Q9M/C so that I can get this battery. Still nothing! Seidio if you're out there, you're killing me!

Sunshine,

I'll check with our engineers again, but at this time I don't believe there are any plans to release the 3200 for the Q9. I'll definitely let you know if something changes.

Sorry,

Wasn't there an extra-capacity but normal-slim-size battery at one point?

I use my bulky extra battery when I travel (a lot) but prefer using the slim one when I can...

Actually, it'd be great to have a charger for them outside of the phone itself... Then I could just switch them in and out.

(I use this thing like a laptop).

Sorry,
Wow! Thanks for the response! The batteries are the same for the Q and the Q9M/C. All I need is a door.

I'm using the 2100 mAh and that just gets me through the day. I bought it months ago before Seidio had the battery door for that one too.
So, in that case I purchase the battery from Seidio, chucked the Q1 extra capacity door that came with it and bought an extended battery door from Motorola. Problem is no one makes a door for Q9c/m that the 3200 mAh battery will fit under. I have to wait for Seidio to make it, and they are taking forever.

Default less than impressed

I bought the Seidio 2100 MaH extended battery around christmas, and i was less than impressed with it. I was upgrading from regular Motorola extended battery. I expected a little longer battery life, and didn't get it. In most cases, the Seidio had LESS battery life than the Motorola battery. I can't completely complain, because it is way better than the original battery that came with the Q. Am i running out to get another new battery? no. Will i buy another one of these again? Probably not. Not saying that i won't but for as much as i paid for this thing, it will be a tough decision. I think next time, i will pop for the biggest battery i can get.

I don't know what type of device you're coming from, but Windows Mobile devices don't do as well on battery life as regular phones or even Blackberries or Palm devices for that matter. I'm sure this has to do with the fact that the devices do so much. However, Smartphones are much better than the touch screen version of Windows mobile. But, you really need the biggest battery you can find if you're a power user.

I'm a bit confused but hopefully I can get some clarification. I have the Q9H global.

So the 2100 is the same size as the standard Motorola battery and I can use the battery cover I have now. But the advantages are neglible?

Is the 3200 the same size as the standard extended battery and I can use the extended battery cover that I have now??

Thanks.
