In
Wireless Sync, I clicked on
Inbox Settings and clicked on the
truncate body option, then set it to to
3,000 characters. Previously it was set to
500 characters, which seems to have been the default that Verizon set it to.
I'm also REALLY ANNOYED that Verizon does NOT have TRUE Push email; if you set it to "push" you wind up waiting from 5-15 minutes. I have it set on 20 minutes now but it seems faster as I frequently have my laptop, destop and the Q on in the same room simultaneously for various purposes (mostly for synching and so forth).
I just like the idea that since I'm paying the same amount whether I have the whole message delivered to me, 500 characters, or only the subject line -
why not just get the entire message (most times) and delete it if I'm not going to read it? It doesn't slow down anything IMO to have the entire message delivered, but can be a REAL annoyance having to
download the body of an important email.
