Default Skins/Cases

I am looking around for a case for my Q to protect it. Was curious if anyone has used any of the silicone case out there or the plastic hard cases? IF sodid u like it? I have seen some of the silicone cases cover the buttons and d-pad, I'd am curious if it interferes at all with useability? I also suppose it would no longer fit into the holster with the skin on?

If you have a case, what do u use? How do u like it? Anyone using anythng out there made for use with the extended battery?

I have one of the silicon cases. it works well, except that i wear jeans all the time, so sometimes getting the phone out of my pocket is a bother. Mine also covers the dpad and I have not noticed any functionality issues. the case is durable, lasted me two weeks in the field, so its pretty tough. it was like 4 bucks on ebay.

I have a pink silicone skin which also covers the D-pad and works well. No real complaints, but it collects lint. It does leave the screen uncovered. I've got a clear plastic case that covers the screen and leaves the whole keyboard and D-pad open. I like it too, but it's kind of close to the keys on the edges so it can be tricky to press those keys. I've had it for about 7 months and the top tab is cracked and going to break off soon. They were both pretty cheap off Ebay.

I actually like the feel that the silicon case gives the d-pad and the soft keys. It has a little "tit" behind the button and it makes them a little more crisp, in my opinion.

I am awaiting a Seidio rubberized case and a holster. I think I will like them if they fit???

I will provide a review after I get them (hopefully tomorrow) although I heard they are dicontinuing the rubberized case because of the inconsistent fit.

I really think a Toughskin case would be perfect for me but I have a moto Q9h and the camera is in a different spot, I went to speck's website and requested they make one to fit the Q9h, now i'm not the type to promote spamming but if any of you want to do the same it would increase my nominal chance of being heard by them!

...man that looks like the perfect case...

Wow, I speck got back to me already they said as of yet they have no plans to design a ToughSkin for the Q9h, but if anyone else has a Q9h I urge them to goto www.speckproducts.com and contact them so they know there is a demand for it! I have already ordered screen protectors and a silicone case, I guess that'll have to make do for now.

well I got my silicon case from pocket solutions dot com (i think at least) and a 15 pack of screen protectors (the soft kind) and it seems well covered. The silicone case has like raised simulated buttons to go over the buttons they cover, pretty cool, but i can tell it will likely be a lint magnet. cost 25 bucks with 3 day shipping and cam with a free "stuff bak" label which is like a "if found return to (blank) for reward" foil sticker, which i think is cool.

Default Case for Q

I bought the Hybrid case from Seidio for my Q. Since I upgraded to the Q9C, I have no use for it . It was great, though, so if anyone would be interested in it, let me know.

Can't seem to find a case to just protect the screen and the sides, without the annoying holster thingy in the back, any cases like that?
