I purchased a leather flip case from Vaja Cases awhile back for my old Q. (I now have a Q 9c with Alltel, and the case works quite well for it, too.) They also offer a non-flip version (which, in hindsight, I wish I had ordered), starting at $60.

Once you have chosen your style, you then choose from as many as five different leather types, a vast array of color schemes, belt clip (or not) ... you can even personalize it with text or a graphic.

I first purchased a Vaja case for my old HP iPAG 1940 PDA years ago. It was absolutely the best case I've ever owned. The leather completely protected the PDA, and it aged rather nicely.

I have no link to Vaja other than being a satisfied customer.

Try the Cellet signature collection...the one listed for the blackberry 8800 fits the q and is pretty sleek looking. Nice slide in case with a great belt clip.

I went with a black rubberized cover from Verizon... after my employee discount it was like $3.96

So far I'm pretty impressed, time will tell though.

can anybody tell me if there are green colored silicon skins for the q9c? i see plenty of other colors but cant seem to find any green. TIA

I'm thinking no, it won't...it slides in and out perfectly with the strap moved out of the way...in fact without the strap if you're laying down/upside down (for whatever reason) it would fall out.
