S200 Headset

Anyone get the S200 headset to work on the Q?

My googling attempts were void of any answers.

Of course the employee at BB told me it would work....

I was going to hack the buds off and make a female 1/8 jack out of it.

Ok, I'm glad to know I'm not the only one. I'm a BB employee and I bought this headset for MY moto Q even, and yes, I'm experiencing the same problems.

I plug it in, and it doesn't change to a headset mode at all, nor when I select the mode manually.

I went and downloaded the most recent active sync as well as did a software update from the motorola website for my moto q phone, i lost only favorites and ringtones, but i can gain them back later. Still even after then, the phone refuses to recognize that it has a mini usb stereo headset plugged into it. Is there a driver or a piece of software that's available to help identify and use this headset?

I don't think the Q uses the USB for audio...
