Replacing the covering

Wasn't sure where exactly to put this, so feel free to move it.

Anyways, I bought a Q9M off ebay (as I said in my other thread in the Q9M section) and I'm soon going to be mailing it off for some one to reflash the firmware in the hopes of me being able to use everything on the phone (Talk text, data)

Now the company has told me it's not 100% guaranteed that I'll be able to get data, so my question is would I be able to swap the cases? As in rip apart my Q's (I currently have the Regular Silver q) and then just swap the insides. All the buttons look more or less in the same spot (minus a few buttons but I can re-map buttons right?)It's just the soft keys and the space bar that have me thinkin it may not work.

Has anyone tried this? Basically I just wanna know if it is possible to put hte guts of my Regular Silver Q into the case of the Q9M.

I'd highly doubt it. Among other things (camera placement,...) I'd say the keys are going to be a huge problem considering the housing for the Q has a space for each key seperately and the Q9m has one large opening for the whole keyboard.

The Q9C and Q9M have swappable parts, but the same can not be said of these and a Q.
