So, coincidently, I'm looking at the New York Times today - and what do I see? A picture of a phone that looks identical to my Moto Q, but from ATT (mine is from Verizon):
"Introducing MOTO Q Global, one of AT&T's fastest 3G smart devices. Equipped with GPS, Windows Mobile 6, ......, Access turn-by-turn GPS navigation, ...., "
Reading this, I conclude that my Verizon Moto Q is simply
intentionally crippled. I have no intention of switching carriers, but I am a bit peeved with Verizon about this!
