Default Need troubleshooting help

I just got a 2GB Mini-SD card with the adapter and a USB Card Reader...

Now the problem is... when I put it into my Q it seems to work just fine but when I put it into the adapter then into the USB Card Reader then plug it into my PC, I can't get access to the card.. (In my taskbar tray the windows "Safely Remove Hardware" icon pops up and that's all, nothing that wants to install it or anything)

I can get it to show up under the devices on my computer as "Removable Disk" but when I right click it just freezes for awhile then does nothing

If I try to double click it it feezes for a long time now comes the weird part, I have gotten 2 different errors -- a few times it has ended up just saying "please insert disk into drive j" or whatever then another one was talking about an I/O error

Any thoughts?? Or more info needed?? Let me know guys

-Thanks in advance
Nick

"when I put it into the adapter then into the USB Card Reader then plug it into my PC, I can't get access to the card"

Which operating system are you using? IF you are using Windoze XP do you have SP1 AND SP2? Now, maybe on to a solution... You are saying that you are putting the Mini SD into adapter first, then hooking it to the computer: shut down computer, disconnect the card reader, re-start you computer & let it boot all the way. Now connect your card reader into the USB port WITHOUT the Mini SD card. Let windows find the card reader first, it will then tell you that in found new hardware & will install it. After it finishes installing the card reader then insert your Mini SD ...I think you are confusing windoze b/c it is trying to install/find 2 things at once. Hope this helps you & Merry Christmas!
