Default mp3 issue

hey, i wanted to see if there was a way to have more than 5-10 full mp3 songs in the sounds folder. i have a 2 gb card with a lot of songs on it but i can only put a few in the sounds folder to use as ringtones. i wanted to see if there is a way to access all my songs on my 2 gb card for ringtones.
Thanks

to access songs on your SD card as ringtones theyhave to be in the root directory
meaning they cant be in folders...otherwise the Q wont pick them up as ringtones
but ones you dont want as ringtones you can put in folders

and to add, not sure if that is what you are doing but using full songs as a ring-tone is not the best idea imo, i suggest using ~30 second clips.

yea i agree...
the song will only play for 30 seconds anyway before it goes to voicemail...
and to add to THAT...a text ringtone will not stop until the song is over...so use a short tone for text messages

Post suggestion

i recommend you check out photo contacts pro for smartphone. its great to customize ringtones and pictures for callers and have bigger caller ids. it lets you load from anywhere on your phone or memory card. the program is worth the money
