Default Motorola T505 and Moto Q

Is anyone successfully using their Q9M with a T505 (speakerphone and FM transmitter). When I try to play songs through this to my car or home stereo, there's quite a bit of static. It's like certain pitches of a song cause static sounds. With Media player, it sucks to the point of making me want to throw it out the window. With TCPMP, I can turn the volume down on the phone, and turn it way up on the car stereo to make it sound less than decent. I've tried different stations, everything. Some songs come through ok and some really bad, and streaming audio from radioio.com is really bad. Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Thanks for the welcome, I've gotten a lot of good tips from this site!

Yeah, I tried the search, but couldn't come up with anyone else having the same issue as me with the t505. I am just trying to figure out if this is normal, or if I should exchange it for another (I'd have to pay shipping). I have found that mp3's with a high bit rate are ok, it's just 128 and below along with streaming radio (from radioio) that are causing all the static issues. It's weird, like it makes the static noise with songs that have more bass to them. Makes the sound like blown speakers.

I found that if I use TCPMP and turn the pre-amp way down, it takes the static noise away, but then I have to crank the volumn up in the car to almost full blast, which then causes other static noises.

Thanks!

Default Figured it out!!

Went all weekend with this bugging me, then this morning had a thought. The Q9M has an audio enhancement feature. I went into these settings and realized that for the headphones, I had the Surround Sound kicked up as high as it would go. Once I turned this down to 0.....the t505 worked perfect!!! I am very happy about this, as I was ready to return it. So thanks, and hopefully this will help anyone in the future.

Now that everything is working great, I would highly recommend the t505 to anyone who wants to listen to mp3's, streaming audio, etc through their car stereo. There is no static, and if there is, you can easily change the station it broadcasts.
