Motorola Q battery interchangeability - Motorola Q Forum

I have a Moto Q with battery model # SSN 5783B.-
Is this battery interchangeable with the batteries used
in other Q models, For example battery model # BT60
used in the Q9c?
Any help would be highly appreciated...

i can use the "standard" battery that came with my original silver Q in my Q9c. (The battery that came with the Q9c is technically a BT61. The other battery is at the office so I can't confirm the number right now.))

That means that the standard batteries have the same
physical dimensions.- My SSN 5783B battery has a capacity of 1130 mAh.- I live in Venezuela and the only
replacement battery I could find (on the web) is BT60; Does anybody know the capacity of this battery and if fits
the silver Q??

Seidio makes a 1300mah battery that is the same size as the original battery...

I note that the BT61 is 1170mAh and the BT60 is 1000mAh (at least according to the web site I went to)

I've found many batteries on the web that fit the silver Q, but the problem is that I am in Venezuela and I must buy in Venezuela... And here the only battery I could find is the
BT60.- That's why I would like to know if this battery works
with the Q...

teuton, I can only say that the BT60 looks like the same size as the other two batteries, judging from the picture I saw...

Thanks sulster, but I don´t think that it is a good idea do buy the battery without having a positive confirmation of exchangeability with the SSN 5783B that came originally with the phone...

Sulster, I really thank you for trying to help. That's a really attractive offer, but the battery is located in USA and for shure it would be a pain in the ... to bring it down to Venezuela.- As I told before, I can buy this battery here,
but I need to know for shure that it works in the silver Q...
