Default Jabra BT8010 Rocks!

I just got my Jabra BT8010 in the mail from ebay, (~$80 for an openbox special) and I'm listening to my music on em as I type this up. I just wanted to give em a bit of a review, and let you all know just how cool they are!
I should preface this by letting you know I've never had any bluetooth headsets before.
Its convertible from Mono to stereo, with the second earpiece having a little mini usb type connection that plugs into the back of the mono ear/mic piece with its attached cord.
It sounds great to me, and I really like the ability to pause and skip songs with a touch. on my q9m it automatically switches from music mode to talk mode when a call comes in.
Overall, I'm very pleased with it, despite the high price (and I got a cheaper price due to the open box aspect.)
The only iffy part is having to carry around the 2nd earpiece (they include a nice carrying envelope/pouch, but its somewhat bulky.
If you're looking for stereo bluetooth, I would recommend checking these out!

I agree. I like my BT8010's, but not love like I first did. It might just be me, but the sound doesn't have the richness or the bass of stand-alone A2DP phones. And the "short leash" of a cable...sheesh. Come on Jabra. It's good but not great. Could be the WMP though. But as a headset, it's great. the hooks are interchangible and stereo calls is a nice touch. But now I suffer cuz I lost one of the hooks, so I guess it's off to eBay to hunt for "hooks". Sad.

Hey Junkio_Marnot,
I like the BT8010's still, and think the connector cable length is pretty good. I've been having some problems with my q9m connections and am trying to troubleshoot. What type of phone do you use yours with? Have you had any problems with repeated requests for pairing, or losing the bluetooth connection while listening to music (or ever?) How long have you had yours?

I use the Sprint Q and have only had problems recently with the stereo profile activating, though I believe it's due to the MOL4 update. Before this allwas well save for my problems with streams to my Blulife adapter for iPod. All in all, I think it's a wonderful device if not just for the concept. I think Jabra should look into issuing updates for it, though I haven'tlooked into that yet. I'll get back to you on that one. By the way, how's that Q9M working out? I know Sprint is supposed to have a version like ATT's but I'm sure basiclly they all work the same. So I'm just trying to get some real world experience with it before I decide to get the Sprint one or not.

I like the Q9M, but I'm currently having some issues (see this thread: http://www.everythingq.com/forum/mot...oma-13922.html). Its from Verizon, which I understand locks off some of the features... the other carriers may be more open.
My Jabra may have come with the problems, as I bought it open box.
